The Certificate in Culinary Arts is grounded in the University of San Agustin model of skill development: learning the theories, mastery of techniques, palate development, speed, and team work.

Our fast-paced intensive curriculum enables students to enter the culinary world in as few as  two (2) academic semester. The 550-hours program consists modular clusters that comprise courses in culinary and baking.

Each class session is designed to teach specific skills, which gradually becomes more complex as the program progresses. Our well-rounded curriculum adheres to food trends that are decidedly global. All lessons conclude with a group tasting and a critique of that day’s work by Chef Instructor so that the participants continue to develop their palates, identify  successes and learn to solve problems. The small class size ensures, individual attention and hands-on participation  to help the student gain confidence and proficiency.
