The University’s Honorary Degree conferment upon Chusuey was approved though Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Resolution No. 596-2013 citing Chusuey for his “significant contributions in job creations and to the government’s revenue generations program, tourism development and promotion; education; disaster response and peace and order; and health and environment protection.”
