Out of the 1,292 passers of the Pharmacist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Pharmacy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Iloilo this January 2015, one student from the University of San Agustin ranked 8th with a 90.55 percentage rating. Claire Erdaje Palma is the only examinee from the Visayas to have made it to the list. Palma is the 40th board topnotcher produced by the USA College of Pharmacy and Medical Technology, since it opened in 1950. Among the college’s first topnotchers are Nenita Flores and Flora Segovia-Salas. WITH Academic Excellence and Organizational Sustainability as breakthrough goals, the new USA Strategic Plan, AY 2014/15-2018/19 finally got the nod of the Board of Trustees last November 12, 2014.The approval was a culmination of a long planning process that included assessments and a series of workshops and consultations with the University’s multi-stakeholders, including some thought leaders from among the alumni.

THE University administration has expressed gratitude for the USA- Dr. Edgar “Injap” Sia II Center for Continuing Education. In one of his inspection rounds of the University this month, Fr. President Frederick C. Comendador, O.S.A., happily notes the progress of the six-month construction.
The three-storey structure is being built mainly for educational purposes as per the Memorandum of Agreement struck between the University and Injap Investments, Inc. last year.Read more: University grateful for Injap building-donation
