About SACEO
At the University of San Agustin, extension services are carried out through the Social Advocacy and Community Engagement Office (SACEO), fondly known as Tilipunan.
Derived from the Hiligaynon word meaning “a gathering place,” Tilipunan embodies the Augustinian spirit of sharing and service. It serves as a space where faculty, students, non-academic personnel, and friar-administrators come together to offer their talents, expertise, and resources in the pursuit of community development. Guided by the University’s motto — Virtus et Scientia (Virtue and Knowledge) — the office promotes the belief that genuine development is a shared responsibility.

The Social Advocacy and Community Engagement Office strives to deliver quality extension programs and services in line with the university’s advocacies by means of continually improving its processes, maximizing involvement of university students and volunteer groups, strengthening collaboration among different academic and non-academic units, sustaining linkages and networks, integrating the Educational Organizations Management Systems in order to meet learner and other beneficiary satisfaction.
