ADMISSIONS PROCEDURES AND GUIDELINES

The application for admission for the First Semester, A.Y. 2024-2025 is now open! All applicants shall take the University of San Agustin Admission Test (USAAT) first before proceeding to the admission proper.

Admission Test starts on January 13, 2024. The schedule of the examination is every Saturday of the month. The schedule of your exam will be sent to you via email.

A.    LAW SCHOOL ADMISSIONS TEST (LSAT) APPLICATION
1.     Click the Mastersoft ERP Solutions Link and register your Personal Information. Be sure that you have strong internet connectivity to receive the One Time Password (OTP).
2.     Use your active email account and be sure to remember your password.
3.     After completing the registration, if online – proceed to the accredited payment centers to pay for the Admission Test Fee amounting to Five Hundred (P500.00) pesos. If you pay in cash or in person – proceed to the University of San Agustin Accounting Office.
4.     Accounting staff will approve the payment. Once approved, the ASPO staff will make a verification of your payment in the Mastersoft ERP Solutions Portal and will receive your official receipt of payment and a photocopy of any valid ID.
5.     The ASPO will issue the Admission Test Permit. Be sure to check the date and schedule stated in the Admission Test permit and present this during the Admission Test schedule to the assigned Psychometrician.
6.     Admission Test Results will be claimed at the ASPO after 3-5 days.

B.    ADMISSIONS SCREENING AND INTERVIEW (New Entrants and Transferees)
1.     The following Admissions Documentary Requirements and credentials shall be prepared and submitted to the Dean, College of Law during the Interview.
a.     Admission Test Result
b.     Photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR)
c.     PSA – Live Birth Certificate
d.     Certificate of Good Moral Character
e.     Photocopy of Diploma
f.      Certification for Graduation

2.     The College of Law will schedule the interview which will be communicated to the applicants.
3.     The list of qualified applicants will be forwarded to the Admissions, Scholarships, and Placement Office (ASPO) to proceed with the Admissions proper.
4.     The ASPO will send an email to the qualified applicants to proceed with the payment of admission and down payment fees.
5.     Applicants will now process his/her Admissions.
6.     The admissions process will end once the applicants have been issued a Certificate of Admission.

3.     Upload the needed complete documentary requirements in the Mastersoft ERP Solutions portal and wait for the notification of the system.

  • a.     Letter of intent addressed to the Dean of the College
  • b.     Photocopy of Transcript of Records (TOR) or copy of grades certified by the Registrar or Dean of the College.
  • c.     PSA Live Birth Certificate
  • d.     Photocopy of Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • e.     Photo Copy of Certificate of Transfer Credentials/Honorable Dismissal (HD)

4.     The uploaded documentary requirements will be forwarded to the college or academic department to be assessed and evaluated by the Dean or Academic Program Supervisors.
5.     The Dean or Academic Program Supervisors will give his/her action taken whether the applicant is approved for admission, disapproved, on probation, or on temporary enrollment using the Admission Requirement Checklist and Referral Form (College Entrants/Transferees) (USA-ASP-F02).
6.     The Admissions Requirement Checklist and Referral Form (College Entrants/Transferees) (USA-ASP-F02) will be returned to the ASPO and the ASPO will review the action taken given by the Dean or the Academic Program Supervisor and inform the applicant through the Mastersoft portal system of the status result of the assessment and evaluation.
7.     The Admissions Proper will start by sending of offer letter to the approved and qualified applicant to proceed to the admissions proper.
8.     The applicant will accept the offer letter and follow the instructions of the system from the first step until the next or last step.
9.     The applicant should pay the amount of PHP 1,000.00 for local applicants and PHP 3,000.00 for foreign student applicants. The down payment fee is PHP4,000.00.
10.  The system will confirm and send the Certificate of Admission to the approved and qualified applicant.
11.  The issued certificate of Admission will serve as one of the requirements to enter on the first step of the Enrollment Process.
