Mission
The Learning Resource Center is committed to support the Augustinian education by providing instructional materials and facilities for teaching-learning processes, research initiatives, and recent innovations to meet client satisfaction in the promotion of life-long learning.
Specifically, it aims to:
1. Select, acquire, organize and preserve information resources;
2. Provide effective access to information;
3. Collaborate with other institutions through resource sharing, and pooling of resources;
4.Upgrade infrastructure, facilities, equipment, and other library materials;
5. Enhance human resource competence and capability; and,
6. initiate effective governance.
LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER RULES AND GUIDELINES
1. Faculty members, personnel, and students must present a validated University ID every time they enter and borrow books from the library; or students can activate their records in the library by sending the scanned Registration Form (RF) and University ID to circulation@usa.edu.ph.
2.1 Borrowing Privileges:
2.1. Elementary Students | Five (5) books for One (1) week |
2.2. JHS Students | Five (5) books for One (1) week |
2.3. SHS Students | Five (5) books for One (1) week; 1 Bible for 2 Hours |
2.4. Undergraduate Students | Five (5) books for One (1) week; 1 Bible for 2 Hours |
2.5. Graduate School Students | Five (5) books for Two (2) Weeks |
2.6. College of Law Students | Five (5) books for One (1) Week |
2.7. Faculty | Ten (10) books for One (1) Semester |
2.8. College of Law Faculty | Five (5) books for One (1) Week |
2.9. Reserve, Reference, Panayana, Augustiniana, Rizaliana, Periodical resources are for library use only and may be borrowed for one hour for photocopying.
2.10. Audio-visual resources and equipment may be borrowed subject to IMC guidelines
2.11. These and Dissertations are for library use only.
2.12. Fine for Overdue Book/s
- Circulation Book/s- Php 10.00 per day
- During Examination- Php 10.00 per hour
3. Lost Book/s – Borrower must replace lost or badly damaged book/s by the same title, edition and author, or pay full replacement cost plus Php 300.00 for processing and mechanical preparation.
4. One week before and during final examination, all books are for library use only.
5. Unnecessary noise, loud conversation and discussion, smoking/vaping and sleeping within the library are not allowed.
6. Mobile phones and other electronic gadgets must be kept on silent modes while inside the library.
7. Other Researchers
7.1. Permission to use the library resources is granted only by the Director of Learning Resource Center or her duly appointed representative.
7.2. Library Fee
Alumni- Php 10.00 per hour (with alumni ID)
Religious Congregation- Php 10.00 per hour
Consortium School- Php 10.00 per hour
Other Researchers
- 1st hour Php 10.00
- Succeeding hour Php 20.00
7.3 All outside researchers are subject to the LRC Rules and regulations.
