The University of San Agustin – Research and Development Foundation, Inc. (USARDFI) proudly announces a significant milestone—officially obtaining its Registration and License to Operate from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). This achievement, granted by the Standards Bureau Region 6 and signed by Regional Director Arwin O. Razo, RSW, strengthens USARDFI’s commitment to driving impactful social development initiatives.
Key milestones included a courtesy visit on January 14, 2025, where representatives met with DSWD officials to discuss compliance and programs, followed by an on-site validation on January 23, 2025, led by DSWD assessors and USARDFI Board of Trustees members.
With this accreditation, USARDFI is now a member of the ABSNet Panay 1 Cluster, expanding its role in community development. This achievement was made possible through the leadership of the Board of Trustees, University of San Agustin units, and dedicated USARDFI staff who played vital roles in the process.
This milestone reaffirms USARDFI’s commitment to social development, strengthening its mission to serve communities through research, outreach, and innovation while upholding Augustinian values.
