Donation from Distinguished Alumni Enhances Student Nurse Welfare

The University of San Agustin, through the College of Nursing, Nutrition, and Dietetics, extends its heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Rogelio Campos (BSN Class of 1996) and Mr. Jose Bales (BSN Class of 1993) for their generous donation of four (4) electric fans.

These units, facilitated through Dr. Carlane Torres, Nursing Clinical Coordinator, will be utilized by student nurses during their clinical duties at the Iloilo Provincial Hospital, as well as the district hospitals in Cabatuan and Pototan—offering much-needed comfort during long hours of patient care and service.

Ms. Jellie Pearl Alilano, RN, Nursing Arts Laboratory Custodian, was also present during the official turnover of the donated equipment.

The receipt of these alumni gifts was formally acknowledged by Ms. Leolette Esther Hubag, Philanthropic Officer, and Mrs. Mary Anne Durias-Aurelio, Director of the Philanthropic, External and Alumni Relations (PEAR) Office.

This thoughtful gesture reflects the enduring spirit of Augustinian solidarity and the unwavering commitment of our alumni to uplift and empower the next generation of healthcare professionals as they live out the values of Virtus et Scientia in their daily service.
