University of San Agustin Opens Academic Year with Mass of the Holy Spirit

University of San Agustin Welcomes Academic Year with Mass of the Holy Spirit

To mark the official opening of Academic Year 2025–2026, the University of San Agustin community gathered in solemn prayer and thanksgiving for the celebration of the Mass of the Holy Spirit on July 31, 2025.

The Mass was mainly presided over by Fr. Arnel S. Dizon, OSA, bringing together administrators, faculty, staff, and students in a shared act of faith and unity.

The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a long-standing Augustinian tradition that serves as a spiritual cornerstone for the academic year. It is a time when the university community pauses to reflect, give thanks, and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all endeavors.

As the new academic year begins, the University of San Agustin continues to uphold its mission of forming competent and compassionate individuals, anchored in faith and guided by the enduring light of the Holy Spirit.
