USARDFI Presents EU–GEPP Certificate of Award to University President

The University of San Agustin Research and Development Foundation, Inc. (USARDFI) Grant Proposal Development Team presented the EU–GEPP Certificate of Award to Rev. Fr. Arnel S. Dizon, OSA, University President and Vice Chairman of the USARDFI Board of Trustees, in a ceremony held on September 3, 2025, at the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City.

During the meeting, the team highlighted the University’s role in championing education and inclusive behavior change for circular economy practices, emphasizing that sustainability is not only about protecting the environment, but also about ensuring that no one is left behind. Guided by the Augustinian values of stewardship, truth, unity, Christian love and service, the University reaffirms its commitment to building a future where both people and planet can flourish.

Exciting news for Iloilo City and USARDFI! We are grateful to be among the new CSO grantees on Circular Economy Behavior Change and Education. Our Executive Director, Ms. Felinor Villa, was humbled to deliver a message of appreciation on behalf of the 10 CSO grantees for CE Behavior Change and Education during the GEDSI Worksho, Innovation Challenge Launch and Announcement of Grantees last August 18–20 at Marco Polo Hotel, Ortigas , Pasig City.

Together with our partners from the Iloilo City Local Circular Economy Action Team (LCEAT) led by Engr. Neil Ravena (Department Head, General Services Office) and Cris Brian Calsado (LEDIPO). Also present to receive the Certificate of Award on behalf of Angat Pinas, Inc., was their Team Leader, Patrick Manuel, with technical guidance from Ms. Emma Gorre-Purog of UNDP Philippines.
