The spirit of generosity and community continues to thrive at the University of San Agustin as Mr. Mark Vincent Frial, President of the Alumni Basketball Association, turned over two brand-new basketball rings to the Sports and Youth Development advocacy. In addition, Nature’s Spring provided bottled water to refresh athletes and spectators during the University’s Intramurals Meet, underscoring the importance of both wellness and unity in campus life.
The donation was received in the presence of Mr. Demosthenes Toledo, USA Sports Coordinator – USA Sports Office, and Fray Stephen Ong Tan, OSA, MMEdA – Coach of the USA Strength and Conditioning Program. Fray Tan emphasized how acts of giving, such as this directly nurture student-athletes and strengthen the University’s commitment to holistic formation. The generous contribution was acknowledged by Ms. Leolette Hubag, Philanthropic Officer (PEAR). The University of San Agustin’s advocacies—anchored on Unitas, Caritas, and Veritas—are made possible through the support of alumni and partners who believe in empowering future Augustinians. With every contribution, no matter how big or small, donors help build a stronger, healthier, and more vibrant community for students to grow, compete, and thrive.
