FH Colors and Coatings Corp. (A-Plus Paints) was established in 1992 with a simple commitment to deliver quality-value paint to Filipino consumers. In 2017, they launched their “A-Plus Paint A Bright World Scholarship Program” to help less fortunate but deserving students achieve their dreams of a brighter future through education and mentorship. In addition, A-Plus Paints continues to support various community programs every year, including medical missions, charitable fun runs, paint donations, and disaster relief initiatives.
This year, the 8th Batch of Scholars under the A-Plus Paint A Bright World Scholarship Assistance Program was recognized on November 16, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Asilo De La Milagrosa Orphanage, Cebu City, Philippines. A total of 117 deserving and talented students across the country were awarded, as A-Plus continued its commitment to education and nation-building in partnership with eight (8) esteemed institutions, including the University of San Agustin.
From the University of San Agustin, two (2) students from the College of Technology—Mr. Leonard Von Cabales (Civil Engineering) and Mr. Karl Capiangao (Interior Design)—were awarded scholarship grants. They received their grants together with the esteemed Dean of the College of Technology, Assoc. Prof. Nolan C. Tolosa, PhD.
