Memories Meet Mission: USA HS Batch 1974’s Heartfelt Gift to the University

In a heartfelt celebration of enduring loyalty and gratitude, USA HS Batch 1974 formally turned over a generous donation of Php 150,000 to the University on February 6, 2026, at the President’s Conference Room, in support of the Dance Studio of the Basic Education Department, Sambag Campus. Led by Batch President Mr. Teddy Tan, the donation was warmly received by Fr. Arnel S. Dizon, OSA, University President, in the presence of batch officers and Mrs. Mary Anne Durias-Aurelio, Director for Philanthropic, External and Alumni Relations (PEAR). The moment was made even more meaningful as the batch was honored with a Donation Certificate from PEAR and a Certificate of Appreciation from Dr. Claudette Paracale, Basic Education Department Principal. In his inspiring message, Fr. Dizon beautifully highlighted the transformative power of alumni engagement, extending an open invitation to other batches to reconnect, renew their ties, and journey once more with the University in shaping future generations—a powerful reminder that the bonds forged within these halls only grow stronger with time, and that the spirit of giving back is a legacy that continues to inspire. Through this extraordinary gesture, Batch 1974 has shown that coming home to one’s alma mater is not just about remembering the past, but about actively building a brighter future for those who will walk these same corridors in the years to come.
