UNIVERSITY OF SAN AGUSTIN COLLEGE OF LAW ALUMNI ASCEND TO THE BENCH: FIVE NEW JUDGES APPOINTED

The University of San Agustin (USA) College of Law proudly announces the recent judicial appointments of five distinguished alumni—an inspiring testament to the institution’s enduring mission of forming principled leaders for the Philippine judiciary.

In a strong affirmation of Augustinian legal excellence, these magistrates—representing graduating classes from 2001 to 2016—have been appointed to preside over key courts across the Western Visayas region.

The Newly Appointed Augustinian Judges are:

• Judge Arville Delgado (Class of 2001) – Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 4, Kalibo, Aklan (transferred from RTC San Carlos, Negros Occidental)
• Judge Jeeli Espinosa (Class of 2003) – Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 33, Iloilo City (promoted)
• Judge Raincelle Omayao-Rufino (Class of 2006) – Presiding Judge, MTC, Maayon, Capiz
• Judge Bryan Kevin Tung (Class of 2014) – Presiding Judge, MCTC, Balasan–Carles, Iloilo
• Judge Roman Almalbis (Class of 2016) – Presiding Judge, MCTC, Pontevedra–Panay, Capiz
