University of San Agustin Pupil Wins Bronze at International Math Olympiad

The University of San Agustin proudly congratulates Gil Miguel Falloria, a Grade 2 – St. Boniface pupil of the University of San Agustin Basic Education Department, for winning the Bronze Medal at the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) held on 06–09 February 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad is an annual international competition organized by the Olympiad Champion Education Center (OCEC) in collaboration with the Thailand Mathematics Society, bringing together some of the brightest young mathematical minds from around the world.

Miguel’s remarkable achievement reflects his dedication, brilliance, and passion for Mathematics at such a young age. This success is also a testament to the excellent guidance and mentorship of his coach, Ms. Claire Eve Magbanua, whose support and coaching helped him reach this international stage.

Miguel’s accomplishment is a shining example of the University of San Agustin’s commitment to nurturing young talents and promoting excellence on the global stage.
