What does it take to plant the seed of giving? Sometimes, all it takes is ₱10 and a stick of fishball. On February 9, 2026, as part of PEAR’s University Week booth — PEARfect Connections — students, alumni, and personnel came together for TUSOK FOR A CAUSE, a heartwarming initiative that proved philanthropy does not have to be grand to be meaningful. For every ₱10 donation to a chosen University Advocacy, a free stick of fishball and fun games to win more prizes awaited — a simple yet powerful reminder that giving can be joyful, delicious, and deeply communal. Students, alumni and personnel were warmly familiarized with the University’s eight advocacies — Augustinian Formation and Mission, Culture and Arts, Human Resource Development, Infrastructure Development, Research and Development, Scholarship, Sports Youth Development, and Protection of the Environment — encouraging everyone to connect with causes close to their hearts. In the spirit of Donate. Dip. Delight., PEAR reaffirmed its commitment to growing a community where generosity is not an obligation, but a celebration. Every “tusok” was a small act of love — and together, they made a difference.
