The University of San Agustin, through the Office of the University Chaplain, invites the entire academic community to take part in the solemn observance of Holy Week from March 29 to April 5, 2026. This sacred season offers an opportunity for prayer, reflection, and renewal as we journey together in faith.
The celebration begins on Palm Sunday (March 29) with the Blessing of Palms at 8:45 AM in the Chapel Lobby, followed by the Holy Mass at 9:00 AM in the Main Chapel, commemorating the Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
Daily Masses will be held at 7:00 AM from Holy Monday to Holy Wednesday (March 30–April 1) at the Adoration Chapel. On Holy Wednesday, the community is also invited to a Lenten Recollection from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the Main Chapel—a time set aside for deeper spiritual reflection and preparation.
On Holy Thursday (April 2), the faithful may receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Main Chapel. This will be followed by the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 4:00 PM. Adoration at the Altar of Repose will take place from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM at the Chapel Candle Area.
The solemnity continues on Good Friday (April 3) with the Stations of the Cross at 1:00 PM, Confessions from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and the Veneration of the Cross at 3:00 PM, all held at the Main Chapel.
On Holy Saturday (April 4), the community gathers for the Easter Vigil at 8:00 PM in the Main Chapel, marking the transition from darkness to light as we anticipate the Resurrection.
Finally, the joy of the Resurrection is celebrated on Easter Sunday (April 5) with the Easter Sunday Mass at 9:00 AM in the Main Chapel.
All students, faculty, staff, and members of the community are encouraged to participate in these sacred celebrations. Let this Holy Week be a time of grace, reflection, and renewed commitment to faith and service.
