The night was lit up with energy, talent, and heart as Pasiklaband 2026, the much-anticipated Battle of the Bands, brought together students from different departments for a night full of powerful performances.
Opening the competition as the first band on the list, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ CLASESSION immediately set the tone for the night. The group delivered a hype-filled opening with confidence and infectious energy. When asked about their preparation, the band simply shared, “We just focused on enjoying the practice instead,” a mindset that clearly showed on stage.
The following band showcased not only skill but also meaningful musical interpretations. Senior High School’s Huling Tala stood out with their memorable rendition of “Ako ay may Lobo,” transforming the familiar folk song into a fresh pop song.
Proudly representing the College of Business, Indus Arth took the stage as one, driven by passion, grounded in purpose, and united by their shared love for music. Their performance reflected strong teamwork and dedication, with every note showing the effort and connection built behind the scenes.
Meanwhile, College of Pharmacy and Medical Technology’s PRPL Jam stood out for their powerful and controlled vocals, which carried the performance with confidence and intensity. Their vocalists’ strong projection and emotional delivery left a lasting impression on both the audience and the judges, proving that vocal strength can truly elevate a band’s overall sound.
One of the most memorable moments of the night came from the College of Law’s Sound Judgment, whose performance embodied their powerful message: “When words cannot speak, music does.”
The emotional atmosphere continued with the Battle of the Bands 2026 champions, College of Nursing and Nutrition Dietetics’ Static, who dedicated their performance to their late adviser, Sir Juniel Dela Riarte, a tribute that added depth and sincerity to their performance.
