The 3rd Year Chemical Engineering students of the University of San Agustin presented their innovative food product outputs during SavourUSA: Powered by Science, Flavored by Innovation held on April 28, 2026, at the CPMT Lobby.
The exhibit featured student-developed products under ChE 326 (Food Processing Technologies), highlighting the transformation of classroom-based concepts into real, market-ready innovations. The event showcased the students’ application of research, formulation, testing, and product development, emphasizing the integration of science, creativity, and innovation in food processing.
Among the featured outputs were Likas Bites by Andraje, RG and Gultiano, Chloe; Yammy Tugi Pancake Mix by Pastrana, Apple and Sucaldito, Jania; Midori Bites by Tinao, Galex; and Nectarbao by Alag, Audre and Castillano, Elizah.
The activity demonstrated the potential of food processing technologies in developing nutritious, sustainable, and market-ready products, while also fostering collaboration, critical thinking, and innovation among students.
