Agenda (LUCs Cluster)” held on May 12, 2026 at Iloilo City Hall.
Director Mondejar shared the University of San Agustin’s experience in crafting its Strategic Internationalization Plan (SIP) and highlighted institutional best practices in advancing internationalization initiatives within higher education. His presentation underscored practical approaches that higher education institutions may adopt in strengthening global engagement, academic partnerships, and mobility programs.
In his discussion, Director Mondejar emphasized the importance of collaboration among higher education institutions, noting that internationalization should be pursued as a shared developmental goal rather than a competitive endeavor among universities and colleges. He further encouraged Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) to strengthen cooperation and knowledge-sharing to accelerate regional and national progress in global academic engagement.
The University of San Agustin’s participation reaffirmed its continuing commitment to CHED’s internationalization agenda and its role in promoting globally responsive higher education in Western Visayas.
Through its engagement in regional and national initiatives, USA continues to contribute expertise and institutional experience toward building stronger pathways for international collaboration and academic excellence.
