The University of San Agustin (USA) formally strengthened its commitment to academic excellence, research collaboration, and global engagement through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Rozzano Locsin Institute (RLI) on 14 May 2026.
The partnership marks a significant step in advancing collaborative initiatives in education, research, nursing innovation, and international academic cooperation between the two institutions.
Prior to the signing ceremony, the University welcomed Dr. Rozzano Locsin, Director Emeritus of the Rozzano Locsin Institute, for a courtesy call at the University of San Agustin. Dr. Locsin was warmly received by International Relations Office (IRO) Director John Paul P. Mondejar and College of Nursing and Nutrition and Dietetics (CNND) Dean Rev. Fr. John Louis Ricamora, OSA.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss shared institutional goals, future collaborative programs, and the strengthening of academic and professional exchanges that will benefit students, faculty, and researchers from both institutions.
The Memorandum of Understanding is expected to pave the way for joint research initiatives, academic exchanges, international engagements, and collaborative programs that promote innovation and excellence in nursing and healthcare education.
Through this partnership, the University of San Agustin continues to expand its international linkages and reinforce its commitment to building meaningful global collaborations aligned with its vision of transformative Augustinian education.
