Senior High School Students Deepen Faith Through Nine-Day Recollection

The University of San Agustin Senior High School community concluded its annual nine-day recollection, providing students with a meaningful opportunity to strengthen their faith through prayer, reflection, and fellowship.

Centered on the themes of Love and Discernment, the recollection invited students to step away from the demands of academic life and reflect on God’s presence in their personal journeys. Throughout the nine-day spiritual formation activity, participants engaged in moments of silence, group sharing, prayer, and reflection, fostering a deeper understanding of their relationship with God and with one another.

A highlight of the recollection was the celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the Holy Rosary, and the Holy Eucharist, allowing students to experience God’s mercy, renew their faith, and grow spiritually. These sacred moments encouraged participants to recognize that they are deeply loved by God and called to discern His will in every aspect of their lives.

More than a spiritual retreat, the recollection served as a reminder of the University’s commitment to holistic education—forming not only academically competent students but also individuals grounded in Christian values and guided by faith.

As the Senior High School students continue their academic journey, they carry with them the lessons, prayers, and grace received during the recollection. May these experiences inspire them to live each day with faith, hope, and love, and to courageously follow the path God has prepared for them.

Viva, San Agustin!
