The University of San Agustin took part in the opening rites of KABALAKA Expo 2026, spearheaded by the Iloilo City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
Representing the University were Dr. Sherwin Sepe, Head, and Jose Ma. Nilo Pueblo, DRRM Officer, both from the Sustainability and Resilience Management Office (SRMO), together with SACEO Community Extension Coordinators April Joy Garcia and Chelsea Jan Campollo.
The opening ceremonies were led by Iloilo City Mayor Raisa Treñas, bringing together various stakeholders committed to promoting disaster risk reduction and management initiatives.
As part of the event, the University of San Agustin mounted an exhibit highlighting its disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) initiatives. The exhibit was presented through the collaborative efforts of the SACEO, Sustainability and Resilience Management Office (SRMO), Administrative and General Services Office (AGSO), and the National Service Training Program (NSTP).
