Marking the energetic start of a new academic journey, the University of San Agustin College of Liberal Arts, Sciences and Education (CLASE) officially welcomed new and returning students for the first semester of the School Year 2026-2027 during its College Orientation held yesterday, July 7, 2026, at the packed School Auditorium.
The event served as both a warm homecoming and a comprehensive roadmap for the upcoming year, designed to equip students with the tools, resources, and community connections they need to thrive.
The orientation opened with inspiring welcome remarks from the College Dean, Dr. Nenelyn de La Fuente, who set a tone of encouragement, growth, and community.
Following the welcome address, the Center for Strategic Management and Development presented the University’s Strategic Plan. This presentation gave students a firsthand look at the institution’s long-term vision, ongoing developments, and commitment to academic excellence and global readiness, illustrating how their daily university experience aligns with a larger, purposeful future.
To ensure students feel fully supported throughout their academic journey, key representatives from the university’s vital service units took the stage to introduce their programs and resources. Students were introduced to a comprehensive safety net of offices, including the Guidance and Testing Center, Social Action and Community Engagement Office, Registrar, Admission, Scholarship, and Placement Office, Health Service Unit, Learning Resource Center, Campus Ministry Office, and Student Affairs and Welfare Office.
The orientation concluded with the highly anticipated introduction of the faculty. Educators from CLASE’s various degree programs and essential academic service units were called up, allowing students to meet the professors, mentors, and advisors who will guide them through their lectures, laboratories, and research projects this semester.
With a clear vision of the future, a robust network of support systems, and a dedicated team of educators, the CLASE community officially steps into School Year 2026-2027 ready to inspire, learn, and lead.CLASE is led by its Dean, Dr. Nenelyn de la Fuente.
