USA, Colegio San Agustin-Biñan reinforce Augustinian partnership
To deepen their alliance anchored in their shared Augustinian identity and educational mission, the University of San Agustin (USA) and Colegio San Agustin-Biñan (CSA-Biñan) renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) through a ceremonial signing held at the President’s Conference Room on September 2, 2026.
The agreement provides opportunities for both institutions to exchange experiences, share resources, strengthen academic programs, and develop collaborative initiatives for students and faculty.
“Today is not simply about signing another document. More importantly, it is about renewing and strengthening a relationship that already exists—a relationship rooted in our shared Augustinian identity, in our common mission, in education, and for the nation,” said Rev. Fr. Arnel S. Dizon, OSA, President of the University of San Agustin, in his welcome remarks.
The MOU was signed by Rev. Fr. Arnel S. Dizon, OSA, President of USA, and Rev. Fr. Dante O. Juloc, OSA, President of CSA-Biñan, alongside John Paul P. Mondejar, Director of the University’s International Relations Office (IRO), and Rev. Fr. Harold Ll. Rentoria, OSA, Director of CSA-Biñan’s Human Resource Development Office and Center for Planning, Research, Innovation and Quality Assurance, representing the two institutions.
In his message, Fr. Juloc underscored the significance of strengthening collaboration among institutions united by the Augustinian tradition.
“I believe this is a reaffirmation of who we are and what we are called to become as institutions inspired by the life, the spirituality, and the educational vision of Saint Augustine,” said Fr. Juloc.
The renewed partnership seeks to create meaningful opportunities for institutional collaboration, particularly in the areas of academic development, knowledge and resource sharing, student and faculty engagement, and other initiatives that advance the educational mission of both institutions.
The MOU further reflects the commitment of USA and CSA-Biñan to foster stronger linkages within the Augustinian educational community and to translate their shared values and mission into concrete opportunities that benefit their respective academic communities.
Through this renewed partnership, USA and CSA-Biñan reaffirm their commitment to Unitas, Caritas et Veritas—building stronger bonds of unity, nurturing a culture of charity, and pursuing truth through education and service for the common good.
