The University of San Agustin brought its personnel together for the One-Day Augustinian Personnel Sports League 2026, held on August 27 at the USA Outside Court. In collaboration with the Sports Office, the University organized the sporting event to provide personnel with an opportunity to step away from their usual routines, engage in friendly competition, and strengthen camaraderie within the Augustinian community.
The league featured volleyball and pickleball, bringing together personnel from different offices and departments in an atmosphere of friendly competition and community spirit.
In the volleyball match, the Office of the President and Vice President for Administration and Finance secured the victory against VPAA Team B, composed of representatives from the College of Pharmacy and Medical Technology (CPMT), College of Liberal Arts, Sciences, and Education (CLASE), and College of Business (COB).
The pickleball matches likewise showcased the skills and teamwork of the participating personnel. Representatives from the Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPAF) and the Office of the President (OTP) claimed the championship in the Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles categories, while representatives from CLASE and CPMT emerged as champions in the Men’s Doubles category.
More than the victories and championship titles, the One-Day Augustinian Personnel Sports League 2026 provided a meaningful avenue for personnel to connect, build relationships, and celebrate the value of working together as one community. Through sports and fellowship, the activity reflected the Augustinian spirit of unitas, caritas, and community, reminding everyone that beyond their respective offices and departments, they remain united as one Augustinian family.
