The University of San Agustin Student Government received a Bronze Special Citation from the Philippine Red Cross–Iloilo Chapter, Western Visayas Regional Blood Center in recognition of its continued efforts to promote the National Voluntary Blood Services Program through blood donation initiatives.
The recognition was presented on August 14, 2026, at Diversion 21 Hotel, honoring the Student Government’s notable contributions to volunteerism, civic responsibility, and humanitarian service.
The citation recognizes the Student Government’s efforts in conducting blood donation drives for three consecutive years, including its blood donation activity conducted in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross–Iloilo Chapter in 2025.
Through these initiatives, the USA Student Government continues to encourage members of the University community to participate in voluntary blood donation and contribute to efforts that support the health and well-being of others.
The recognition reflects the value of sustained student involvement in community service and humanitarian initiatives, demonstrating how student organizations can contribute meaningfully to the wider community through collective action and volunteerism.
