The University of San Agustin – Basic Education Department celebrates the outstanding achievement of Gil Miguel Falloria, who won the Gold Medal at the International Equilibrium Science Olympiad (IESO) held at the SMX Convention Center in Pampanga, proudly representing the Philippines and the University of San Agustin.
Competing alongside young science enthusiasts from 12 countries, Falloria demonstrated excellence in Science through his dedication, discipline, curiosity, and determination. His international achievement reflects the countless hours of preparation and the commitment required to compete on a global stage.
Behind this milestone is the support of his family, whose unwavering love, sacrifices, encouragement, and guidance have been instrumental throughout his journey. The University likewise recognizes his coach, Ms. Meryll B. Golingan, for her patience, mentorship, and dedication in helping Falloria develop his skills and reach this remarkable achievement.
The University also extends its appreciation to Ms. Lizette Amodia for generously providing review materials and to Mrs. Roda Bataanon, Falloria’s former coach, for her guidance and mentorship during his development as a young science learner. Their contributions helped strengthen the foundation that supported his journey toward the international competition.
