The Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines Regional Executive Committee – Region VI has officially announced the 17 Regional Finalists of the 59th Search for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) – Region VI, following careful evaluation by the panel of regional screeners.
Among this year’s finalists are two exceptional young leaders from the University of San Agustin: Ancel D’Cunha and Zedrick Wyne Que.
Que is a graduate of the College of Nursing and Nutrition Dietetics, where he took up Nursing. He also served as Student Government President for Academic Year 2025–2026, demonstrating exemplary leadership and meaningful social responsibility throughout his academic journey. Meanwhile, D’Cunha is a graduate of the College of Law and was recently offered an internship position at the Paris, France office of White & Case LLP — one of the most prestigious international law firms in the world. This achievement reflects not only academic excellence but also the global caliber of the University’s young leaders.
The 17 finalists represent some of the finest young leaders across Western Visayas, embodying the pillars of TOSP:
- Academic Excellence
- Exemplary Leadership
- Meaningful Social Responsibility
- All grounded in Strong Moral Values
This recognition is not the destination — it is the doorway. Soon, D’Cunha and Que will step into the Regional Formation Program, where shared ideals turn into lasting bonds and service becomes a shared mission. And when Regional Judging arrives, the region will choose who will carry its hopes to the National Search. Whatever lies ahead, one thing is certain: these two Augustinians walk forward with purpose, passion, and pride.
