The University of San Agustin, through the Campus Ministry Office, conducted its Annual Recollection for Lay Administrators for Academic Year 2026–2027 on September 28, 2026, at St. Clement’s Retreat House, La Paz, Iloilo City, bringing together 94 lay administrators for a day of prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal.
Guided by the theme “In Illo Uno Unum: Fostering Service and Collaborative Augustinian Leadership,” the recollection provided the participants with an opportunity to pause from their daily responsibilities, reflect on their vocation and role within the Augustinian educative community, and deepen their commitment to service, unity, and collaborative leadership.
The recollection was facilitated by Very Rev. Fr. Rey Zerrudo, SSL, Rector of St. Joseph Regional Seminary, who guided the lay administrators through meaningful reflections on service and collaborative Augustinian leadership.
As part of the Campus Ministry Office’s formation program, the annual recollection supports the spiritual formation of lay administrators and encourages them to live out the Augustinian spirit in their respective roles in support of the University’s mission.
The activity concluded with the celebration of Holy Mass, presided over by Very Rev. Fr. Rey Zerrudo, SSL, and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Glenn A. Macorol, OSA.
May this meaningful gathering continue to inspire our Lay Administrators to serve with faith, foster collaboration, and lead with the spirit of St. Augustine.
Viva San Agustin!
