The University of San Agustin’s College of Pharmacy and Medical Technology (CPMT) Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) team placed 4th during the 45th PAMET-PASMETH National Quiz Show on September 18, 2026, held at The Tent, The Manila Hotel.
The annual competition is held during the Medical Technology Week Celebration, bringing together schools nationwide to test their knowledge of the program’s courses. After several rounds of questions ranging from easy to difficult, the USA-CPMT-MLS team ranked 4th out of 68 participating schools, sharing the spot with San Pedro College.
The team also ranked 3rd out of 12 teams during the Team Challenge segment of the competition.
Representing the University of San Agustin were MLS students Mr. Jordan T. Baldevia, Ms. Janna T. Cancio, Mr. Jerick Adrian S. Mosquete, and Ms. Blythea Ysabelle B. Joquiño, under the guidance of Head Coach Mennen Ace Laude, RMT, MSMT.
The team’s recent performance follows its previous standings in the national competition, placing 10th out of 67 participating schools in 2024 and 9th out of 70 participating schools in 2025.
