Mental Health Walk 2026 Promotes Wellness, Mindfulness, and Augustinian Values

The University of San Agustin’s Guidance Services and Testing Center (GSTC) organized the Mental Health Walk 2026 on October 16, 2026, at 6:00 a.m. on the university grounds to promote mental health awareness, encourage self-reflection, and foster compassion and solidarity within the Augustinian community.

The activity featured three stations inspired by the Augustinian values of Veritas (Truth), Unitas (Unity), and Caritas (Love). At the Veritas Station, participants engaged in self-reflection and symbolically released their burdens through the Stress Basket. The Unitas Station encouraged mindful walking through silence and meditation, while the Caritas Station provided Coping Cards containing encouraging reminders and practical ways to navigate everyday challenges.

Through these activities, the Mental Health Walk highlighted the importance of self-awareness, mindfulness, and extending kindness and support to others.

Through initiatives such as this, GSTC continues to promote mental health awareness and encourage a caring and supportive Augustinian community.
