A Journey of Faith: The Culmination of “Ang Pag Bisita ni Maria”

This October, the University of San Agustin Sambag Campus united in prayer to observe a grace-filled Month of the Holy Rosary. From our opening community prayers to the daily classroom devotions, our campus embraced the spirit of faith and unity every step of the way.

The Launch: A Community United in Prayer Our journey began on the morning of October 2, as elementary and junior high school students, alongside faculty and staff, gathered at the campus gymnasium for a beautiful Community Rosary. Starting early at 8:00 a.m., the school officially opened this month of devotion. The morning was immediately followed by a First Friday Mass, reverently presided over by Rev. Fr. Peter John C. Cardos, OSA, and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Jose Gonzales, OSA.

The Devotion: “Ang Pag Bisita ni Maria” The spirit of prayer continued to flourish throughout the month with the beautiful tradition of “Ang Pag Bisita ni Maria,” which began on October 12. The image of the Blessed Virgin Mary gracefully visited our classrooms, bringing blessings to our learning spaces. We are incredibly proud of our pupils and students—each class lovingly prepared a special, sacred altar to welcome our Mother and faithfully prayed the Holy Rosary together as one class.

The Culmination: A Solemn Closing Mass On October 30, our junior high school students, faculty, and staff gathered at the Campus Chapel to officially close this blessed month. We culminated our community devotion with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Rev. Fr. Jose Gonzales, OSA.
