The University of San Agustin, in collaboration with USA College Red Cross and USA Student Government, has hosted a Blood Donation Drive this U-Week 2026 with the theme “Agos ng Pag-Asa, Mobile Donation Drive” located at University Review Center, Urdaneta Hall.
The Blood Donation Program officially started at around 8:30 AM with donor registration outside University Resource Center. In line with this, esteemed blood donor volunteers underwent screening procedures such as vital signs assessment, medical history evaluation and actual blood donating procedures. This approach ensured the safety of both the donors and recipients, which will guarantee a precise and accurate blood collection.
Throughout the excitement happening this University Week, this meaningful program offered a reflection of generosity, initiative and courage to help vulnerable individuals in the community. These actions are not meant only for saving lives, but also empowers the Augustinian community to become instruments of hope, faith and compassion.
Aristotle once said “What is the essence of life? to serve others and to do good” A powerful quote that reflects a calling for individuals willing to give effortlessly, without expecting anything in return.
