The Basic Education Department offers accredited elementary and secondary programs. It is the breeding ground of God-loving pupils from where the various colleges of the University get prospective students, molding and turning them into outstanding debaters, orators leaders, writers, athletes, campus thespians, among others. It  occupies the new Sambag, Jaro Campus, the home of the beautiful Saint Augustine Chapel.
