Augustinian student-leader named Most Outstanding Jose Rizal Model Student of the Philippines

The University of San Agustin proudly congratulates another exceptional Augustinian leader, Inri Dominic Flores, for being recognized as one of the 2024 Jose Rizal Model Students of the Philippines.

Inri is a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy student from the College of Commerce, the USA Student Government President for A.Y. 2023-2024, and an active member of the Red Cross Youth Philippines. He has represented the Philippines on the global stage, including the Youth Engagement Strategy 2.0 in Cali, Cambodia, and at the Southeast Asia Youth Forum and 129th SEA RCRC Leaders Meeting in Brunei Darussalam.

This year’s Jose Rizal Model Students of the Philippines search gathered exceptional finalists from across the country. Among them, only two were honored as the ๐— ๐—ผ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ข๐˜‚๐˜๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ฒ ๐—ฅ๐—ถ๐˜‡๐—ฎ๐—น ๐— ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—น ๐—ฆ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€: Inri Dominic B. Flores of the University of San Agustin-Iloilo and Ysabelle Julyana G. Panganiban of St. Scholastica’s College Manila, alongside eight Outstanding Jose Rizal Model Students.

Inriโ€™s remarkable achievement exemplifies the values of leadership, community service, and dedication, serving as an inspiration to his fellow youth.

He follows in the footsteps of three other distinguished Augustinians who have also received this prestigious recognition: Cynette Lovelyn Mirasol (1999 Jose Rizal Model Student), Kelly Binder (BS Marketing Management, 2016 Jose Rizal Model Student), and Christine Octoso (BS Architecture, 2023 Jose Rizal Model Student).

These Augustinians continue to bring honor not only to the University but also to the region as we commemorate Dr. Jose Rizal’s martyrdom. Their successes highlight the Universityโ€™s commitment to academic excellence and the formation of individuals grounded in virtus et scientia.
