The University of San Agustin participated in the Rotary Club of Iloilo City’s Boys’ and Girls’ Week, a flagship project that provides young students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, share their perspectives, and experience civic engagement.
The Boys’ and Girls’ Week Oral Interview and Final Judgement was held on September 12, 2026, at Diamond Jubilee Hall, bringing together 53 student participants who shared their ideas, perspectives, and leadership potential.
In partnership with the Rotary Club of Iloilo City, the activity provided the participants with a meaningful platform to demonstrate their communication skills, confidence, and readiness to take on leadership responsibilities.
Representing the University of San Agustin as its Boys’ and Girls’ Official Week 2026 representatives were Junior High School students Local Student Governor Roma Angela Galvez and Vice Governor Paula Xyzamae De Vicente. Both representatives successfully passed the written examination and completed their oral interview during the event.
Their participation reflects the commitment of young Augustinians to opportunities that foster leadership, service, responsibility, and active engagement with the community. Through initiatives such as Boys’ and Girls’ Week, students are encouraged to develop their voices and gain experiences that help prepare them for future leadership roles.
