The University of San Agustin invites you to the book launching of “19 ka Ambahanon para kay Maria sa panahon sang COVID-19, Volume 1” Musika by 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙮 𝙁𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙣, Artistic Director of the USA Choir and Troubadours, and 𝘿𝙧. 𝙂𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙤 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚 𝙈𝙪𝙮𝙪𝙚𝙡𝙖, Academic Supervisor of the USA Conservatory of Music.
This collection features Marian devotional songs composed in the traditional Hiligaynon ambahanon form during the COVID-19 pandemic—a testament to faith and cultural resilience during challenging times.

The launch will feature special performances by:
- USA Choir and Troubadours
- Coro Liturgico Agustino
- Sta. Maria Parish Grand Choir

Jomel Garcia, Amabelle Castro, Demmie Nicolette Maza, Bernacel Doyo Neri, and Rey Vincent Oribe
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸
“Ambahanon para kay Maria sa panahon sang COVID-19” preserves the rich tradition of Ilonggo devotional poetry and music while documenting the spiritual expressions that sustained the faithful during the pandemic. This work serves both as a liturgical resource and a cultural treasure, ensuring that the ambahanon tradition continues to inspire future generations.
