Byaheng CNND: Second Semester Level Orientations

The College of Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics successfully conducted the Second Semester Level Orientations for Levels I to IV, which provided a focal point for the harmonious synchronization of students to academic standards, professional expectations, and the Augustinian upheld by the University of San Agustin. The orientation programs provided all students with essential information about institutional policies, available support services, and academic milestones which are important to their development as future nurses.

The Level I Orientation, entitled “Byaheng 2nd Sem Na!”, was held on January 5, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the USA Auditorium. The program introduced first-year students to College’s academic policies and procedures which included specific details about Related Learning Experience (RLE) for the second semester. The session aimed to establish a strong academic foundation by clearly defining student expectations, responsibilities, and standards of conduct as learners commenced their formal nursing education.

The Level II Orientation, titled “A Fresh Beginning: Batch Hygeia’s 2nd Semester Orientation Program,” took place on January 12, 2026, from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the University of San Agustin Gymnasium. The orientation highlighted moral values, academic accountability, and key institutional policies, including those on admission, retention, promotion, and discipline. Representatives from various university offices were also introduced to ensure comprehensive student support. The program concluded with a motivational message encouraging perseverance, commitment, and excellence in the nursing profession.

The Level III Orientation, themed “Byaheng 3rd Year,” was conducted on January 12, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the USA Auditorium. This session was designed to further strengthen students’ academic and professional formation by reinforcing essential college policies and emphasizing the availability and importance of student support services. The program highlighted values of resilience, responsibility, and dedication as third-year students continue to advanced toward greater clinical competence and professional maturity.

The Level IV Orientation was held on January 10, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the USA Auditorium, with the theme “Biyaheng RN ’26. Discussions focused on crucial matters such as financial obligations, review center concerns, graduation requirements, baccalaureate and ringhop activities, OR/DR scores, and comprehensive preparation for the Nursing Licensure Examination. The session aimed to provide graduating students with clarity, direction, and readiness as they prepare to transition from academic training to professional practice.

Overall, the Second Semester Level Orientations reaffirmed the College’s commitment to academic excellence, holistic student formation, and learner success. By addressing level-specific concerns while fostering unity and Augustinian identity, the orientation programs effectively prepared students across all year levels to face the challenges of the semester and pursue their vocation as compassionate, competent, and ethical nurses in the future.
