Canon Law Society Opens 32nd National Convention in Iloilo City

The Canon Law Society of the Philippines officially opens its 32nd National Convention at Sam’s 21 Hotel from February 23 to 26, 2026, bringing together canon lawyers, clergy, and legal scholars from across the country for several days of dialogue, formation, and professional exchange. The convention, one of the most anticipated gatherings in the Philippine Catholic legal calendar, will feature a special highlight on February 25, when delegates are welcomed to the historic University of San Agustin for a solemn Mass and social gathering at the CPMT Building, 7th Floor — a fitting venue that reflects the deep Augustinian tradition of faith and learning that has long anchored Catholic education in the Visayas. The event underscores the Society’s continuing commitment to the study and promotion of canon law in service of the Church in the Philippines.
