The celebration in honor of the University of San Agustin’s beloved patron saint, St. Augustine of Hippo, continued with the Cassiciacum Prayer Dialogue on August 28, 2026, at the University Auditorium. The gathering was presided over by Most Rev. Cyril Villareal, D.D.
The Cassiciacum Prayer Dialogue is a faith formation initiative rooted in the spiritual tradition of St. Augustine of Hippo. It seeks to form participants as contemporary heralds of the City of God by cultivating an Augustinian spirituality centered on the search for truth (veritas), the practice of charity (caritas), and the promotion of unity (unitas).
Through prayer and dialogue, the gathering provided an opportunity for the community to reflect on questions that matter, deepen their faith, and encounter one another through honest and meaningful conversation.
