The Master of Public Administration (MPA) program is a two-year graduate program usually taken by lower-and mid-career and aspiring professionals to obtain advance managerial education applicable to a broad range of organizations in the public sector and non-government organizations. The curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitude that will make them competent and qualified for middle-and higher-level administrative positions of public institutions and non-government organizations.

The program underscores on the current management techniques, functional areas, and relevant theories in public administration, public fiscal administration, development planning, good governance, project planning and management, human resource, strategy, public policy, leadership and ethics, and practical applications. After passing the comprehensive examination, the student may opt to take thesis or non- thesis strand. The non-thesis program aims to improve decision-making capabilities of students by providing a functional organizational foundation, enhancing their analytical, communication, and technological skills as well as ethical and moral values needed to attain high level of competencies in professional practice. On the other hand, the thesis program aims to develop the competencies of government professionals to undertake research in specific areas within the field of public administration science and practice. The program focuses on replication, verification, validation, contextualization, and/or application of theoretical knowledge about the different aspects of the government process.

1. Educate students to be compassionate and effective leaders humanely manage public organizations with a high-level of professionalism.
2. Prepare students to initiate and facilitate interactions between government, for profit, and nonprofit sectors to provide ethical and workable solutions to societal needs.
3. Create a collaborative environment of excellence in instruction, research, and service.
4. Participate in and contribute to the public policy process and translate research into effective practices and achievable, humane policies in public administration.
5. Prepare students to determine, collect, and critically analyze the evidence appropriate and essential to make decisions and solve problems for their work in the public and governance sectors.
