Departmental Masses Strengthen Love, Unity, and Truth Across the Augustinian Community

The various departments and units of the University of San Agustin gathered for their respective Departmental Masses, a monthly Eucharistic tradition that provides each academic and operational unit an opportunity to come together in prayer, reflection, and fellowship according to a designated schedule.

While university-wide liturgies foster solidarity across the entire institution, departmental masses provide a more intimate space for faculty, staff, and students to nourish their faith together and reflect on the unique mission and community of their respective units.

The departmental masses embody the Augustinian values of Caritas (Love), Unitas (Unity), and Veritas (Truth), connecting the University’s academic and professional responsibilities with a deeper spiritual purpose.

Gathering within their respective departments also creates opportunities for colleagues, professors, and learners to strengthen relationships, foster mutual support, and build a stronger sense of community beyond the classroom and workplace.

Through this regular tradition of Eucharistic celebration, the University of San Agustin continues to nurture a community that pauses to pray, reflects on its shared mission, and walks together in faith, love, unity, and truth.
