The Department of Health Center for Health and Development (DOH-CHD) Region VI awarded the University of San Agustin as one of the recipients of DOH-Pre Service Scholarship Program (PSSP) AY 2022-2023.
There are 23 first year college accepted and qualified scholars who met the requirements prescribed by the Department of Health. Twelve are from Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (BS MLS) and 11 from Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Phar).
Last September 27, 2022, the Department of Health together with Mr. Jose Perez Jr., Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Medical Technology (CPMT) and Mr. Sunny A. Lasala, Head of Admissions, Scholarships and Placement Office (ASPO) conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to the accepted and qualified scholars to discuss their roles and responsibilities, financial benefits such as stipend allowance, uniforms, book, transportation expenses, board and lodging, full tuition and miscellaneous fees and among others. The said Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was held at the 3rd floor of the new CPMT building, University of San Agustin.
A service contract between the scholars and the DOH-CHD had been provided as part of their compliance.
