Last June 23, 2026, CNND academic staff gathered at the Sta. Monica Ward, Gamboa Hall for a highly impactful seminar titled “Ethics and Evidence: Navigating Research Integrity and IMRAD for Healthcare Professionals.” The seminar featured Dr. Jezyl Cempron-Cutamora, Professor VI at Cebu Normal University, as the distinguished guest speaker. With her profound expertise, Dr. Cutamora guided participants through the complex landscape of research ethics, emphasizing the critical importance of integrity, transparency, and accountability in scientific inquiry. She also provided a masterful breakdown of the IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) framework, offering practical strategies to streamline data into a structured, publication-ready format. Additionally, a one-on-one research consultation was conducted in the afternoon.
By bridging the gap between rigorous ethical standards and systematic writing, the seminar successfully equipped attendees with the vital tools needed to elevate their research competencies. Sincere gratitude goes out to the organizers and participants who contributed to the resounding success of this academic milestone. Through initiatives like this, the institution continues to champion the advancement of evidence-based healthcare.
