The University of San Agustin proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of the Kawilihan-USA Dance Troupe, recipient of the Grand Prize and Best Performance Award at the 23rd Gwangju Chungjang Street Festival in South Korea, held from October 7 to 11, 2026.
Bringing Filipino culture to the international stage, the troupe showcased the beauty and richness of our cultural heritage, earning recognition that brings pride and honor to both the University and the Philippines.
Behind this remarkable achievement are generous individuals whose support helped provide jackets for the troupe’s international representation. Their kindness went beyond material assistance—it became a meaningful expression of encouragement, solidarity, and belief in the talents and potential of our students.
The University of San Agustin extends its heartfelt gratitude to the following sponsors for their invaluable support:
Bernardita Durias-Hernandez; Spouses Alfredo and Teresita Durias; Christopher Lawrence Durias; Christine Java-Yotoko; Anna Shiela Fabiana-Booth; Nanette Agruda; Mary Grace D. Samson; and Norman Gregorio.
