In the Augustinian tradition, the pursuit of wisdom and virtue is never a solitary quest—it is a journey lived together in community.
Across the Basic Education Department of the University of San Agustin, from Elementary to Junior High School, class section names are more than labels; they serve as living reminders of the University’s Augustinian Saints and Blesseds. As each class celebrates the feast day of its patron, students and teachers come together around the Eucharistic table in holy thanksgiving, followed by a joyful salo-salo that strengthens fellowship and community.
Through prayer, reflection, and shared meals, learners are reminded that faith is lived not only through personal devotion but also through meaningful relationships with others. These moments provide opportunities for students and teachers to deepen their appreciation of Augustinian values and experience the importance of community in their journey of formation.
In these simple yet meaningful celebrations, our young Augustinians discover that holiness can be nurtured through everyday acts of unity, gratitude, fellowship, and shared faith—striving to live with one heart and one mind directed toward God.
