The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) successfully conducted a Management Training with the theme, “Leading Academic Excellence through Governance and Transformational Leadership,” on July 30, 2026, at the Lagoon 2 Hall, San Antonio Resort, Roxas City. The training gathered academic leaders to strengthen their leadership competencies and reinforce their commitment to excellence in higher education.
In his opening remarks, University President Fr. Dizon encouraged academic leaders to embrace empathy, wisdom, and grace as they navigate the challenges of leadership and institutional governance, saying, “As a leader, remember that not everyone will choose the same path as you. You must listen with an open mind, discern with wisdom, and respond with grace.”
The training featured Atty. Jose Donel T. Trasporto, as the resource speaker, who shared valuable insights on governance, transformational leadership, and the evolving role of academic leaders in fostering institutional excellence. Throughout the session, the speaker reiterated the importance of the leadership principles to Discover, Own, Navigate, Empower, and Live, encouraging participants to embrace these values as guiding foundations for effective and purpose-driven leadership.
The Management Training reflects the University’s commitment to developing competent, visionary, and transformational leaders who are equipped to lead with integrity, accountability, and a shared dedication to academic excellence.
