The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) successfully conducted the seminar entitled “Building Bridges: Rapport Making and Outcomes-Based Inclusive Education” at the 6th Floor, Hotel Sta. Monica last June 9, 2026.
The seminar featured insightful discussions led by Mr. Frank Emboltura, faculty member of the Education Program, and Dr. Florence Matthew T. Besares, University Psychiatrist, who served as the resource speakers for the event’s key topics.
The activity aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of effective rapport-building strategies and outcomes-based inclusive education practices, fostering a more inclusive, collaborative, and learner-centered academic environment.
Throughout the seminar, participants gained valuable knowledge and practical strategies on establishing meaningful relationships with students, creating inclusive and supportive learning environments, and applying outcomes-based education principles to address the diverse needs of learners. The resource speakers emphasized the importance of empathy, effective communication, collaboration, and respect for individual differences in promoting student engagement and academic success.
Through this initiative, the HRMO continues to strengthen the professional competencies of faculty members by providing relevant learning opportunities that support inclusive teaching practices and contribute to the University’s commitment to delivering quality, student-centered education.
