The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) successfully conducted the seminar titled “Leading Academic Teams Through Delegation, Communication, and Monitoring Essentials and Values-Based Leadership and Responsibility” at Bien Hall, Sam’s 21 Hotel, last June 11, 2026, with Atty. Jose Donel Trasporto serving as the resource speaker.
The seminar gathered Academic Supervisors and faculty representatives from the University’s different academic programs to strengthen their leadership competencies in delegation, communication, monitoring, accountability, and values-based leadership. The activity aimed to enhance participants’ leadership capabilities and promote effective academic management within their respective units.
During the seminar, Atty. Trasporto emphasized the importance of being an Augustinian leader who leads with integrity, humility, service, and compassion. He encouraged participants to foster collaboration, inspire their teams, and uphold the University’s Augustinian values in carrying out their leadership responsibilities.
Moreover, Atty. Trasporto underscored that the role of every Academic Supervisor is vital in shaping not only the future of the students but also in cultivating harmony, professionalism, and a positive work environment within the University. He highlighted that effective leadership is built on trust, clear communication, accountability, and a genuine commitment to serving others.
Through this initiative, the HRMO continues to support the professional growth of academic leaders by providing relevant learning opportunities that strengthen leadership effectiveness and contribute to the University’s pursuit of academic excellence and values-driven service.
